Sergei Breus is an old fashioned builder who can fill traditional or the most modern needs. Recently, for example, a client wanted a house based on the house of Pushkin, the Nineteenth century Russian poet. Sergei made measured drawings of the house near St. Petersburg and created an almost exact visual equivalent with the highest quality windows sourced from France and Poland, Siberian larch for the roof and interior, all beautifully sited with stone walls, and for a cost well below what anybody would expect from such high quality construction.
Sergei has been building in Maine since 1990. Most of his work comes from old customers who want him back.
